To start off Memorial Day weekend, Lily showed off some crawling skills, and Rose and Lily both rode the bouncer with Mom's help!

We took the babies to Mission Beach to meet up with Auntie Audra and her boyfriend Tim this past weekend. We survived the trip and learned a lot about what we need and don't need on a road trip with Lily and Rose...

Tim worked the camera for us as we let Rose and Lily dip their toes in the mighty Pacific Ocean for the 1st time...

Mother's Day Video

I had this video thing figured out last September. Then twins happened, and all my non-essential memory was blown out by things like how much do babies eat, why do babies have green poops, why don't babies enjoy just hanging out, etc....

So after much trial and error, I finally broke down and read the video software manual. Turns out it's pretty easy. So hopefully you'll be seeing more Norton Productions in the near future!

Playing with each other!

Lily and Rose are starting to interact more, which is really fun for us to watch! Above is a short clip I took today with my phone.

We are almost 7 months old!

We are moving soon to a bigger house so Mommy has been too busy looking for a place and is very sorry that she is behind on posting pictures on the blog.

We had a great time playing with Gpa Norton who came to visit us for 2 weeks! He taught us how to sit up all by ourselves! Mom will be adding pics later this week of all the fun we had with Gpa Norton, but here is a preview so you can get an idea of what we have been up to!LILY

FIRST EASTER!

We went to an Easter Egg Hunt at Saks 5th ave with Sasha and had a great time getting our picture taken with Peter Cottontail. Sasha only found one egg for us, but she was just trying to be nice to the other children hunting for eggs.

We also went on a walk to the park in our new stroller with Mom and Dad after a nice Easter lunch...Lily 'n Rose

Cousin Tina Came to Visit!

Since our cousin Tina lives in cloudy, cold, snowy Minnesota she decided to come and visit us for 5 days and meet us for the first time. We had a great time. We went on a lot of walks and had really good food that Tina made us. We hope she comes again soon! We will get to see her this summer since she only lives 10 minutes from Grandma and Grandpa Norton!Tina, Rose, and Lily

Jody Came for a Visit!

Mom's friend Jody came for a visit to meet us and get out of that MN cold. We had a great time. We went to the park for a twins play date, we went to mom's school, and we went on lots of walks. Sasha (Mom's Little for the BBBS program) came over for a couple visits too.

We have been growing so much. We are 6 months old today and can't believe how much we have been learning. Rose makes a gurgling sound and Lily is singing herself to sleep lately. STILL NOT SLEEPING THRU THE NIGHTS...but only get up 2 or 3 times. Grandpa Norton is coming down again in a few weeks so we are very excited about that. Also, we are moving to a house in Palm Desert in June so Mom is frantically looking for a new place. A Visit to Wenzlaff Elementary School (Mommy's old work)

When Auntie Jody came to visit we went up to Mommy's school and met her friends and students. We were a big hit out on the playground and in the teacher's lounge. Everyone was talking about us, the kids were screaming, and Mommy was reminding them to "look with their eyes"! (kids are a little germy) We had a great time and can't wait to go back and see them all again one day.

Mommy had to be sure they didn't tip out stroller over...there were so many kids!Lily slept through a lot of noise...she was really tired!

Busy Girls

We had a week off with no family and still had a lot going on.

We had Joey, Griselda, Janelle, and Rachael come over and visit and we went to a St. Patrick"s Day party with the Holloways. We had so much fun at the party and mom and dad had a good time too.

This week Auntie JodyWallin is visiting from MN...we are having a blast! Griselda stopped by and bounced babies to sleep!

BABY SHOWER!

We went to my friend Rachael's Baby Shower. It was the first shower for Lily n Rose. They loved it. They were able to meet all of Mommy's friends and coworkers. It was a very busy day of being held and loved by lots and lots of people.

March has been BUSY!

We have had visitors for the past 26 days! Grandpa Norton for a week, Grandma Karen, Uncle Spencer, Tyler, and Julie for 10 days, Auntie Sam for a week! When Sam was here we even drove to Laguna Beach to visit our Great Auntie Patti, Unlce Joe, Ashley, and Victor (they were vacationing from MN) It doesn't end there...Mom's BF Jody is coming next week!
