Back in SoCal

We're safely back home after a long drive. In case you ever need to know, it takes 26 hours to drive from Bismark, ND to Palm Springs, CA.

Thanks to everyone who took time to visit with us and put us up for the night.

Pictures of the trip below....

1st stop - Oklahoma City where we met up with Sarah McAlister and her boyfriend.

While in OK City, we visited the bombing memorial.

Looking at the memorial from a church across the street. The base of the statue is inscribed "Jesus Wept."

Fireworks in OK City.

Bowling with Sam & Spencer in Blaine, MN.

Happy bowlers!

Family Fun Day with Spencer, Carl, Sam, Karen, Bill, & us.

This picture is for Michael Vick. Mac and Radar in a "couch match."

Beach babes on Coon Lake in MN.

Sarah at Buffalo Wild Wings - her favorite!

Mom Norton and Mac wading in Lake Huron near Tawas, MI.

It took a team effort to get this log off Grandma Rahl's lane - especially after the chainsaw quit working!

The Norton side - Mom & Dad, Aunt Colleen & Uncle Russ, Uncle Bill and Aunt Norma, Aunt Elaine & Uncle Elwood.

At Grandma Rahl's house with Mom & Dad.

Me, Dad Norton, and Mac working on Grandma Rahl's 1950 Ford.

Ready to head back to MN!

We found the perfect size pool for Mac on the way back to MN - Lake Michigan.

At Grandma and Grandpa Fowler's house in Fridley, MN.

We met up with Audra....

Sarah with the latest addition to her side of the family - Charlie, and Abby.

Anni having fun on the trampoline.

The golf team.

We drove through the driveway of Shawn's old house in Glyndon, MN - they added a porch and square footage in the 10 years since he lived there.

Trent treated us to a Redhawks minor league baseball game on the day we visited him in Moorhead, MN.

Sarah with Andy (the groom) at the wedding we went to in Bismark, ND. He would later get thrown in the hotel pool by his brothers, and had to change into shorts and a t-shirt. HI-larious.

GO SEE SICKO....

...and ladies bring your tissues. Not a dry eye in the theatre. By far the most important movie of my lifetime.
