Rose has surgery 7/31/09

We went to the University of Minnesota Medical Center to have Rose's infected cyst removed by Dr. Rimell, the same doctor that had done an emergency surgery on Sarah's cousin Ashley about 10 years ago.

Rose and Sarah off to surgery - Sarah got to stay with her until she was put to sleep, which was very hard for her to watch.

Rose in recovery - she woke up about 40 minutes after surgery and we were able to see her right after that. She is still hooked up to an IV, heart monitor, and blood pressure cuff at this point (all under the blanket).


Our little rock star pounding down the toast and juice after being unhooked from all the equipment - she was very hungry from not being able to eat all morning before the surgery.

Hijinks 6-16-09

Pool Party...

We had a wonderful Pool Party with all our LOCAL loved ones, and sure enough...I was too busy to take any pictures!
So sad!
We had a blast eating dogs, swimming with the babies, play'n some pool volleyball, and hot tub'n. BUT...no pictures!

New Place...

We have been very busy moving into our new place. I am very sorry I haven't been keeping up on the blog. My father came down for 2 weeks and helped us move into our new place. We are about 25 minutes East of Palm Springs in Palm Desert. We are so happy with 800 more square feet since the babies are all over the place now. They are really crawling everywhere now at a very fast pace. Mac turned 4 last week and we are finally getting settled. The girls are now starting to sleep through most nights now that they aren't sleeping in our room anymore. I think they really enjoy having their own Winnie-the-Pooh room!

We had people over last weekend for some hot digs and pool volleyball, we had a blast. We now have a private yard, pool, and hot tub! Mac loves the yard and he REALLY LOVES THE POOL! The girls enjoy the water on the weekends with Shawn and I as well. We hope to see many of you this summer. Book your flights to come visit now...first come first served...

New Address

We moved to a new place this past weekend! We're very lucky to have Sarah's dad Bill and friends here to help us. Now the long unpacking process has begun.
